Dear Teachers,
This week I wanted to share with you the work of creating units of study at Candalaria. We began this journey in December when we started our PD based on understanding units of study. After our January 30th PD which we collaborated with all South Salem Elementary Schools, our journey began to unfold. This is our journey from beginning to about half way through. We've come a long way:)
(I hope to share the work of McKinley teachers as they are undertaking this adventure as well).

This is a work in progress. As you can see in this video this is just part of the non-fiction unit of study. I will add more to the video as the writing process continues.
